ASHER SIMMONS

Asher Simmons is an international recording Artist with Bermudian and Bahamian Roots. After cementing and making his presence known in the Bahamian music scene. He moved to the UK in 2019 narrowly missing the strongest hurricane in recorded history, as a category 5 Hurricane ‘Dorian’ swept through and devastated Asher’s home island of Abaco, Bahamas.

Asher didn’t miss a step as he released numerous singles, garnered radio time and built up an organic audience in the South West before making the decision to transition to Bristol in 2020...

What’s clear is that Asher is a gifted songwriter and talented musician. Wielding powerful, reality packed lines, unique melodies, sincere transparency and a precise flow, his ability to put his stamp on a song is seamless and well executed. With A fusion of Afrobeat, Hip-Hop and RNB... Leading to him playing all the big festivals in the Southwest in 2023 including but not limited to Glasto, BoomTown, Love Saves The Day and Forwards Festivals... Asher's influences and sound can be likened to artists such as Wande Coal,  Rod Wave, Drake, Burna Boy, and Kojey Radical......
